Miami-Based Tech Startup is Turning the Arts & Culture Festival into a Virtual Scavenger Hunt
MIAMI, Fla. (October 21, 2019) – This year’s third annual Uptown 7 Arts & Culture Festival is turning the Arcola Lakes Branch Library into an augmented reality scavenger hunt playing field with SAVR; a virtual AR scavenger hunt platform. SAVR is a fun mobile platform using real-life locations with augmented reality features, where virtually collected items can be redeemed at local businesses and locations. Think of Pokémon Go but with incentives. Guests will be able to collect perks from vendors and redeem in real-life.
“We want people to be able to explore our community with fun and immersive technology such as augmented reality, and then lead people back into our local shops” says founder Krystal Kunyue Zheng.
